Last night Erika and I met up with her old roommate Jen from college. We went to get Indian food! That's right, I now eat Indian food, but I still hold the right to veto things on the menu if I want. Jen told us about her new business venture. She is opening up a general store that sells all environmentally friendly, and locally made products. She says it's really the first of its kind and she is really excited about it. If you want to find all your soap, clothing, etc. in one place, this is the place to do it. Right now, it is difficult to do that type of shopping because you normally have to go to a lot of different stores, or the stores don't tell you where the product is from, or what is actually in the product.
We also went to a couple bars and saw some country music. We had fun, and I was exposed to Southern life a little more. I also learned that in Nashville, apparently people don't obey the traffic lights, and decide to walk across the street whenever.
This morning we are going to the Pancake Pantry and then taking a tour around Vanderbilt.
In case anyone was wondering, the search for Marley's leash continues, and I am currently lobbying for a quick visit to PetSmart to just get a new one, because the scarf is not an adequate solution.
