Our fun day in Nashville

Erika took me around her campus. I liked it, but it's no Syracuse :) Cuse beat memphis yesterday, by the way. But I didn't celebrate too much because I didn't want to make the tennesseeans mad at me.

Anyway, the campus was very nice. We then visited one of Erika's old roommates, Denitia. She is making it as a musician, starting to write songs (for money!) and going on tour. We will be listening to her cd during the trip.

This morning's visit to pancake pantry was delicious! Erika got chocolate chip pancakes, I got sweet potato pancakes. Both great!

Our last stop was going to be the grand old opry, but they were charging $18 to park, so we said "forget that!", only instead of forget I might have said a different word that rahm Emmanuel is well known for saying. In any case, we drove around the place, it was ginormous and the Christmas lights were cool.

Now we say goodbye to Nashville and head for a late arrival into atlanta tonight. Another first for me in visiting new places.
